It Finally Rained!

Hello All :)

So since I've been here, which has been about two weeks, it hasn't rained. UNTIL TODAY! I probably shouldn't be excited because everyone says once it starts raining, it never stops. But all of the clothes I packed are for fall and winter so I've been roasting in this 75 degree weather. That's funny because I know that my dear friend Toni in Arizona is thriving in much warmer weather. :)

I joined a gym! I think that when I run outside I run farther, but I know that its going to get colder and start raining more and I hate running in the rain and the cold. So the gym was the best option. Also, I can take yoga classes there, which I've never done, but always wanted to do! Because I've never done it, I'm sure that I'll make a fool of myself :) A couple days ago when I was running on the treadmill listening to my music, the song "For The Longest Time" came on and it reminded me of when my cousins, brothers and I sang it in Maine this summer. Might I add, we rocked the house :) Miss you guys. <3

My London Mile Count: 29

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but one of the hardest parts of moving here was cooking and finding food to eat. It sounds silly, but the first couple of days I was here I'd forget that I had to make food for myself, so I just wouldn't eat. Don't worry! That's changed! I've been using the slow cooker that my mom sent and cooking other things as well. Whenever I cook I always think that Molly and Brant would be really proud of me because usually I just have to make it up and it turns out pretty good! I'm so glad that I've at least spent some time in the kitchen with all of the excellent cooks in my life. Both Grandmas, Barb, Mel, and of course my momma :)

Last night Madi, Molli, Quin and I went to see Hoodie Allen in concert! It was the first concert I've ever been to and it was kinda crazy, but really fun! We got really close to the front too! I'll put up a picture that I got of him. I touched his hand too, if anybody's wondering. I know I sound like a 14 year old fan girl right now, but it was really fun. :)

My moms been super great and supportive and has found all of these great quotes for me. It just makes me feel like I'm doing the right thing, even though I don't feel like I am all of the time. What can I say? She's my rock <3

Catch ya on the flip side!

Out of all the quotes my mom sent me, this one had the most impact :)
